A LaGrange, Indiana woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of US-12 and Conrad Road in Milton Township.

Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office say 64-year-old Terri Hart of LaGrange was traveling eastbound on US-12 when 18-year-old Abigail Robbins of Edwardsburg was traveling southbound on Conrad Road. Robbins failed to yield before crossing the intersection, and collided with Hart as a result.

Hart was transported to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Both parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and the sheriff’s office says alcohol and drugs are not suspected to have been factors.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Edwardsburg Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and Ontwa Township/Edwardsburg Police.
