Despite inclement weather passing through the area, the Three Rivers Water Festival parade carried on after an hour’s delay Thursday. Onlookers still lined the streets as the skies cleared to watch floats pass by, following the route down Michigan and Main Streets. 

This year’s theme for the festival is “TR Goes for the Gold,” to coincide with the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. A number of entries dressed the part, wearing athletic gear and medals, and decorating floats with the Olympic rings.
