Local meeting primer: Three Rivers City Commission

The Three Rivers City Commission will meet tonight, Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m. for its regularly scheduled meeting at Three Rivers City Hall (333 W. Michigan Ave.)​

The plan, approved unanimously by the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority at a May 9 meeting, would help reimburse developer Allen Edwin for non-environmental costs associated with the development of housing units priced for income qualified households.

The City of Three Rivers estimates the total eligible costs for the project are $2,868,776.

As part of the plan, Edwin would be able to claim reimbursement for eligible housing development activities as well as site preparation and infrastructure improvements necessary for the new housing development.
