The City of Kalamazoo will use the information in a five-year Consolidated Plan survey to help prioritize spending for community development projects over the next five years. Kalamazoo residents can take a few minutes to complete the survey.

A new five-year Consolidated Plan for Kalamazoo will guide spending priorities for Community Development Block Grants and the HOME Investment Partnership funding provided annually by HUD. The next plan will focus on 2025-2030. The City of Kalamazoo also prepares an Action Plan, which focuses on a specific year.

The City of Kalamazoo wants residents to rank their level of support for priorities including affordable housing, public improvements, assistance for the unhoused, and other community development needs.
