Three arrested in Newberg Township stolen property investigation

Three people were arrested and multiple stolen items were recovered after a search warrant was executed on a home in Newberg Township, according to the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team (CCDET).

Detectives with the CCDET were called to a home on the 61000 block of Bair Lake St. on Tuesday, July 9 for suspicion of concealing stolen property. Three individuals were detained at the residence. Upon searching the residence, detectives located and recovered multiple stolen items.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on a parole detainer, CCDET stated. Detectives are also requesting charges to the Cass County Prosecutors Office, for possession of stolen property on the male and a 37-year-old-female. The suspects’ names are being withheld until charges are finalized.
