Promoting the cause of neighbors helping neighbors, Sturgis Make It Home announces a Donation Saturday this weekend.

Sturgis Make It Home is accepting gently used, clean, essential household items from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday. Donations will be accepted at 307 N. Chicago Rd, with donors asked to use the North Jefferson Street door.

Anyone interested is asked to see Sturgis Make It Home’s Facebook page for more specifics on what can be accepted.

“Our storage space is limited and at near capacity so we will be adhering to our donation standards and will only accept items we deem essential,” Sturgis Make It Home wrote on Facebook. “We respectfully request that items be smoke-free and free of pet dander as well because we have had some allergy issues. We can provide information about other ministries that will take your items that don’t quite meet our criteria.”

Sturgis Make It Home is a free ministry offered by Radiant Life Church. It accepts donated household items for re-distribution.
