Citizens of St. Joseph County,

I am a U.S. Army veteran, and a retired law enforcement officer with almost 26 years experience. Of these years in law enforcement, I worked 17 of those years in St. Joseph County Michigan (13 in Three Rivers & 4 in Constantine).

During my career in St. Joseph County, I had the pleasure of working with Deb Davis. I first met Deb when she was working as a Defense Attorney. In my experiences with Deb, she was always polite and respectful in her demeanor towards me. Deb did an outstanding job in this role and always served her clients best interest. She did this without belittling police officers, and she maintained a cordial relationship with law enforcement from my observations. This allowed her to later smoothly transition to an Assistant Prosecutor position. During this time, Deb and I didn’t always agree on everything, but we had a mutual respect for each other’s professional viewpoint.

In the role of Assistant Prosecutor, Deb excelled. From my observations, Deb has always been passionate about representing victims of crimes, and I feel this is a fundamental trait in the role of Prosecutor. I believe that Deb Davis is the best choice for St. Joseph County Prosecutor, and I have faith that if she gets elected she will continue to serve the citizens of St. Joseph County with integrity and compassion.
