Household Hazardous Waste Collection scheduled for October 2 in Centreville

St. Joseph County residents are invited to get rid of unwanted materials during the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Wednesday, October 2.​

The event takes place from 2-6 p.m. at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds, 316 Charlotte St. in Centreville. Use the main entrance on M-86, please.​

Only hazardous waste from households, not from businesses, will be accepted. Items must be packaged safely for transport.​

Up to 100 pounds of hazardous materials will be accepted free of charge. Beyond 100 pounds, there is a charge of $2 per pound.​
