A Three Rivers man was injured Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle-truck crash in Jefferson Township, Cass County.

Police said officers responded to a crash on Pine Lake Street and Hess Road at approximately 2:55 p.m. Tuesday. Robert Tiser, 53, Cassopolis, was driving a truck eastbound on Pine Lake Street, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office stated.

Patrick Davis, 31, Three Rivers, was driving a motorcycle northbound on Hess Road. Police say he failed to stop at a stop sign. Davis crashed into the truck on Pine Lake Street before being taken to Memorial Hospital for injuries he received in the crash.

Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be factors in the crash. A helmet was not worn when Davis was driving, police said.

Assisting agencies on scene were Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department, SMCAS Ambulance, and the Edwardsburg Fire Department​.

The crash remains under investigation.
