Trinity Episcopal Church, Three Rivers, hosting pulled pork dinner fundraiser tonight

(Trinity Episcopal Church, Three Rivers)

Trinity Episcopal Church will host a pulled pork dinner from 5-7 p.m. tonight in Three Rivers. The dinner costs $8 a person and is taking place in the parish hall.

Tonight’s event is a fundraiser for the church and its ministries. Along with its regular worship services, the church has the prayer breakfast ministry and takes part in the Community Kitchen on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

“We can’t take complete credit for that,” Pastor James Smith said. “The Community Kitchen is hosted by different churches. There is a pretty big involvement from our church. We like to help with community needs when we can.”

Some tickets for the pulled pork dinner have been donated to Community Kitchen guests. Smith anticipates about 100 people will attend tonight. About 60 people attend the Community Kitchen when it’s held.

The dinner will include pulled pork, chips, salad, dessert, and drinks. The main course comes from Mike Clipfell.

“Everything’s homemade, except for the chips, and that we can’t help,” Smith said.

Trinity Episcopal Church is located at 321 N. Main St. in Three Rivers. Anyone wanting to make a carryout order can call 269-273-3795.
