Northside Beverage robbed on Saturday
Northside Beverage, a party store located at 135 N. Main St. in Three Rivers, was robbed Saturday night around 9:30 p.m., according to the Three Rivers Police Department.

The suspect reportedly entered the store while the clerk was in the back office, went behind the counter, grabbed alcohol, cigarettes, and emptied the cash register.
Before the suspect could leave, the clerk returned to the front of the store and confronted the suspect, who then brandished a black semi-automatic style pistol before making their exit.
Police describe the suspect as a 6-foot-1 male with a stocky build and blue eyes who at the time of the robbery was wearing a white bandana on his face, a black sweatshirt, a blue t-shirt, blue pants and black shoes.

Lievense, of Northville, currently serves as an assistant U.S. attorney. He previously worked as a litigation associate at Honigman LLP in Detroit and clerked for U.S. District Judge Avern Cohn.
