2024 General Election Results: Kane wins St. Joseph County probate judge election, Walberg and Carra win locally

With 12,157 votes, or 52.99% of the race, Kevin Kane was elected St. Joseph County probate judge Tuesday, November 5. Kane faced Kelly Ward, who received 10,503 votes (45.78% of the race). Write-in candidates received 284 votes (1.24% of the race).

“I’m truly humbled by the support that I’ve gotten throughout this whole campaign,” Kane said shortly before midnight on Tuesday. “It really shows through tonight. This whole county has shown a lot of heart, and I am so honored and humbled to have been able to achieve this.”

Results from Cass and Kalamazoo Counties were not as complete as St. Joseph County’s were as of this article’s publication. Cass County has 21 voting precincts, while St. Joseph County has 23 and Kalamazoo County has 105.
