In celebration of Baldwin’s achievements, the college is hosting a solo exhibition, reINspired: The Artwork of Sally Baldwin, from March 17-27 at the Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery.

Glen Oaks Community College will honor artist and educator Sally Baldwin with induction into its Arts Hall of Fame, recognizing her contributions to arts education and her distinguished career as an artist.

In celebration of Baldwin’s achievements, the college is hosting a solo exhibition, reINspired: The Artwork of Sally Baldwin, from March 17-27 at the Flora Kirsch Beck Gallery. An opening reception is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Baldwin, a lifelong advocate for the arts, holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Art Education from Western Michigan University. She has spent more than 40 years teaching art, including a decade at Lakeland School Corporation and 30 years at Sturgis Public Schools. She also taught Art for the Elementary Teacher at Glen Oaks, helping future educators integrate creativity into their classrooms.

Her work has been featured in several notable exhibitions, including the 2024 Hoosier Women Artists showcase at the Indiana Lieutenant Governor’s Office and Indiana Arts Commission, the 2025 “Walking” exhibition at the Glen Arbor Center for the Arts, the 2025 LaGrange INspired Project with the LaGrange County Arts, and the 2025 Carnegie Center for the Arts Regional Juried Arts Competition.

The exhibition will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from noon to 5 p.m.
