Local meeting primer: Three Rivers City Commission to meet tonight

The Three Rivers City Commission will meet on Tuesday, May 20, at City Hall to consider a range of business matters, including updates to user fees, a budget amendment, and the sale of nearly 17 acres in the Airport Industrial Park.
Key items on the agenda include the proposed FY26 User Fee Ordinance update, which outlines new or adjusted fees across various city services. Commissioners will also consider Budget Amendment 3 for fiscal year 2024-2025, addressing revisions to the current spending plan.
Other business includes a Brownfield Redevelopment Plan (#8), rehabilitation plans for Pealer Street Bridge, and FY25 pavement improvement projects. The Commission will also review an agreement for an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS), which would enhance aviation safety and weather reporting.
