The Three Rivers City Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. at city hall with very little to consider in terms of action items.

The lone action item currently on the docket is the proposed purchase of real estate in the form of three tax delinquent properties up for auction by the county. According to a memo to the commission from City Manger Joe Bippus, those properties would include three of the four properties being offered in the city: 418 S. Main St (vacant lot), 819
Fifth St. (vacant lot), and 509 Spring St.

If authorized by the commission, the city would exercise its right to purchase the property for the cost owed to the county, which is currently estimated to be $12,699.22. This amount could change slightly based on mowing charges or other costs the county incurred to process the sale.
