The celebration continues into the afternoon as the Glen Oaks Vikings softball team hosts Indiana University South Bend in a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m., with the second game at approximately 1 p.m. Community members are invited to bring their Viking spirit and cheer on the home team.

“This anniversary is not only a chance to celebrate Glen Oaks’ history, but also to thank the community that has supported us for six decades,” said Dr. Bryan Newton, president of Glen Oaks. “We’re proud of the thousands of graduates who began their educational journey here and went on to make an impact locally and beyond. We invite everyone to join us on campus to celebrate the past and look ahead to the future.”

The event is free and open to the public. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase. Donations will also be accepted throughout the day to benefit Affinity House, a St. Joseph County nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and providing local resources.

Please note: The Sauger Lake Road entrance to campus is currently closed due to construction. Visitors should use the main entrance off Shimmel Road to access the event.
