Doezema, the new executive director of the Kalamazoo Climate Crisis Coalition, was tapped to lead the nonprofit organization in January, in part to help manage a countywide project to upgrade 300 single-family homes to be more energy-efficient.
Born and raised in India, Malika Raza arrived in Kalamazoo in 2008 and has worked throughout the community in fields including refugee resettlement, foster care, nonprofit strategic planning and grant writing, often as a volunteer. Raza now seeks to help others find their home in her capacity as director of development and operations for Kalamazoo Housing Advocates.
