The Three Rivers Public Library (TRPL) and the George Washington Carver Community Center (GWCCC) recently co-hosted a discussion about diversity as a part of a series of conversations through a grant funded by the American Library Association.
A new outdoor music event in downtown Three Rivers drew a full audience this past weekend. Backstage Bash 2020 was organized by the Riviera Theatre and the Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority and Main Street Program (TRDDA). It took place Saturday afternoon and evening on a temporarily closed section of Railroad Drive behind the theatre. Featuring four music acts, it served as a fundraiser for this year’s upcoming Christmas Around Town.
Three weeks ago, Peter Butts joined the staff of the Three Rivers Public Library (TRPL) as the new children’s librarian.
The Three Rivers Public Library board approved roof work at its regular meeting Tuesday evening, received construction and reopening updates, and learned the name of the new children's librarian.
