The resolution, which was adopted with a 4-3 vote, authorizes the county to issue general obligation limited tax bonds to finance courthouse improvements.
Commissioners also addressed multiple other agenda items, including adopting a new artificial intelligence (AI) policy for county staff, appointing individuals to various county boards, and approving financial allocations.
The "No Wrong Door" program allows for informed decisions about healthcare, Commissioner Rick Shaffer said. Shaffer also showed a present for colleague Dennis Allen.
The meeting will include recognition of outgoing Commissioner Dennis Allen, who served from 2017-2024.
"I'll be asking lots of questions about spending and if the taxpayers' money is being spent responsibly, or if there could be cuts," Yunker said.
