Local meeting primer: Sturgis City Commission
Items include the swearing in of newly elected commissioners and the selection of a mayor and vice mayor.
The Sturgis City Commission will convene for an organizational meeting and their regular meeting tonight, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 130 N. Nottawa St.
During the organizational portion of the meeting, the results of the November 5 election will be presented, newly elected commissioners will be sworn in, and the commission will select a mayor and vice mayor. Following the adjournment of the organizational meeting, the regular meeting will commence.
