Local meeting primer: Sturgis City Commission

The Sturgis City Commission will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Sturgis City Hall, 130 N. Nottawa St.

The commission will discuss several new business items, including the city’s renewable energy plan and the first reading of a proposed zoning ordinance amendment.

Other key agenda items include accepting the resignation of City Planning Commissioner Peter Stage, sending a letter of recognition for his service, and approving approximately $2.5 million in city bills.
