The Three Rivers City Commission will meet at 6 p.m. tonight at 333 W. Michigan Ave.
The Commission is expected to vote on adopting its updated WeAreTR: Imagine 2040 Master Plan, a long-term blueprint that guides city growth and development through 2040. The plan outlines policies and goals for housing, downtown redevelopment, transportation, recreation, and land use.
Three Rivers last adopted a Master Plan on October 26, 2020, and is now updating it in line with state law, which requires cities to review their plans at least every five years.
Also on the agenda is a public hearing on the next round of state-administered Community Development Block Grant housing rehabilitation program, which provides funds for income-eligible homeowners to make essential home repairs.
Commissioners will also consider approving the city’s 2025-26 winter salt purchase, the purchase of a used vehicle for police use from Vetter-McGill Chevrolet, and an update to the city’s Water System Reliability Study and General Plan.
