St. Joseph County United Way launches capital campaign for new facility
United Way is calling on community members, local businesses, and civic leaders to support the effort. Contributions will go directly toward construction of the facility.

St. Joseph County United Way has announced the launch of a capital campaign to fund construction of a new facility on Shimmel Road, next to the St. Joseph County Intermediate School District.
The new building is designed to expand program capacity, improve efficiency, and create space for future initiatives, while maintaining support for the United Way’s 40 partner agencies.
“For years we have made the most of every inch of space in our current building,” said Board President David Northrop. “This new building will allow us to work more effectively, expand vital programs, and meet future needs.”
Community leader Tony Percival will chair the campaign, while Executive Director Kelly Hostetler continues leading annual fundraising efforts. Percival said the project is about “building the foundation for the next generation of impact,” adding that the new space will help the organization “dream bigger and serve better.”
