Useless Creatures to donate all of today’s sales to tornado relief

Useless Creatures Brewing Company plans to donate all sales today, Thursday, March 12 to tornado recovery efforts. All of the money will go to The Huss Project who has been organizing volunteers, collecting donations, and providing resources for those in need in the wake of the tornado.

Useless Creatures Brewing Company plans to donate all sales today, Thursday, March 12 to tornado recovery efforts. All of the money will go to The Huss Project who has been organizing volunteers, collecting donations, and providing resources for those in need in the wake of the tornado. 

“We have long supported their efforts in the city, which have been especially impactful in the days since the tornado. Please come dine with us today knowing that your money is going to an organization doing good and building a more connected and compassionate Three Rivers,” the company said in a Facebook post

Useless Creatures is located at 41 N. Main Street., Three Rivers, Michigan. They offer a variety of craft beers — brewed on-site — along with a pub-style menu. You can view the menu here

The restaurant is open from 4-10 p.m. today, the kitchen closes at 9:30. Useless Creatures does not take reservations, seating is first come, first served. 

The efforts come six days after Three Rivers was hit by an EF-2 tornado last Friday, March 6. A full damage assessment from the American Red Cross and supporting organizations is still ongoing. Watershed Voice will continue to provide updates on the assessment and relief efforts as they come.
