Items will include the first reading of amendments to Sturgis' zoning ordinance, as well as the first reading of a proposed zoning district amendment for 909 E. Chicago Rd.
“By uniting our foundations, we can amplify our resources and reach, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve," SACF Executive Director Lindsay Aguilar said.
“Our purpose is not to turn people away, or to judge people,” Krysti Boughton said. Boughton explains when the center would be activated and how the public can support it.
Watershed Voice contacted Lance Thornton, Colon Township’s lawyer, regarding James Gray's assertions that Farrand Hall is being singled out, in part, because of homophobia, but Thornton declined comment Wednesday.
“If you haven’t been to Sturgis or haven’t gone to any of our Christmas events, or any of our events in general, now is the perfect time to come downtown,” Ryan Conrod said.
