Three Rivers city commissioners voted unanimously to censure At-Large Commissioner Lucas Allen at Tuesday’s meeting following Allen’s disruptive and threatening behavior on March 7. A resolution of censure posted on the city’s website states Allen’s conduct damaged the reputation of the City of Three Rivers, and diminished the goodwill between the commission and citizens.
The Three Rivers Woman’s Club has installed a new display in downtown Three Rivers commemorating the 100th Anniversary of women’s right to vote.
Abiel Fellows Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution has announced the area’s DAR Good Citizens for 2020. Each member of the senior class is selected by their respective school for exemplifying the qualities of "Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism."
