The last two years have been trying for a number of reasons but the community of Three Rivers still has plenty to be thankful for, and shared those thoughts with Watershed Voice ahead of Turkey Day.
In the first public event to raise funds for the Three Rivers Promise, Dan’s Famous Fish Fry will be held on Friday, August 13 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Three Rivers Lions Club located at 420 6th Ave.
Three Rivers High School’s Class of 1964 nearly tripled its initial fundraising goal for Three Rivers Promise, raising $1,925 for future graduates of Three Rivers High School.
As a part of this summer’s reunions, the Three Rivers High School Class of 1964 is having a birthday party on July 31 as they celebrate their respective 75th birthdays this year. As part of that celebration, the group hopes to donate at least $600 to the Three Rivers Promise.
The Three Rivers Promise (TRP) Board announced a public campaign Monday to fund an endowment to support graduates of Three Rivers High School in furthering their education. The goal of the Promise is to provide every graduate of Three Rivers High School with a scholarship toward tuition and mandatory fees for post-secondary education at Michigan public colleges and vocational schools.
