Deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a break-in and theft of amp wire in Florence Township.

At approximately 8:17 p.m. on Friday, October 15, deputies responded to a reported larceny in the 62000 block of Constantine Rd. in Florence Township. Upon further investigation authorities surmised someone had broken into an outbuilding on the property, and stole a 200-foot roll of heavy gauge amp wire.

The Sheriff’s Department is asking that anyone with information pertaining to this incident to contact Central Dispatch or Deputy Middaugh at 269-467-9045 Ext. 328.
