Woman dies after being struck by vehicle in Three Rivers

A 39-year-old woman died Monday after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of North Main Street and Cushman in Three Rivers.

A 39-year-old woman died Monday after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of North Main Street and Cushman in Three Rivers.

At approximately 5:37 p.m. Monday, December 27, the Three Rivers Police and Three Rivers Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. Upon arrival medics attempted lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful, as the woman succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation, and the name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification. The Three Rivers Police Department were assisted in the investigation by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department and White Pigeon Police Department.
