Three Rivers woman arrested with 116 grams of meth in her car

A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old Three Rivers woman after police discovered 116 grams of methamphetamine in her vehicle.

A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old Three Rivers woman after police discovered 116 grams of methamphetamine in her vehicle.

At approximately 8:39 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on Haines Road near South Fisher Lake Road in Lockport Township for multiple traffic violations. Upon further inspection of the vehicle, deputies located meth, $1,810 in cash, and paraphernalia used for the sale and distribution of the aforementioned methamphetamine. 

The woman was arrested and lodged in St. Joseph County Jail for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, fleeing and eluding, resisting and obstructing, destruction of evidence, and possession of a police scanner while committing a felony.
