Downtown Sturgis to host ‘Chocolate in the city’ Friday

The Sturgis Downtown Development Authority is putting on an event sure to please local chocolate lovers with “Chocolate in the city” on Friday, November 17 from 5:30 to 8 p.m

The Sturgis Downtown Development Authority is putting on an event sure to please local chocolate lovers with “Chocolate in the city” on Friday, November 17 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

For $15 participants can purchase a custom chocolate box at the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce or Olive Fresh. After procuring the box event goers can visit the 15 participating downtown businesses, a list of which will be provided with the box, and fill the box with chocolate as they go.

Friday’s event will also include two food truck vendors on the corner of U.S. 12 and Pleasant Avenue, with Party on the Patio providing “craft burgers,” chicken, sliders, BLTs and more, while J’s Munchspot will be offering “the best Birria in town.” (See their Facebook for more details)
