Planning commission annual report

The planning commission will present its annual report Tuesday, which is expected to include details on the development of the city’s master plan, which has to be updated or reaffirmed in 2024 in accordance with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, as it was last adopted in October 2020. The planning commission will also detail what it hopes to accomplish in 2024.

Surf Internet METRO Act Application

According to a report from Director of Public Services Amy Roth, Surf Internet has submitted an application for METRO ACT permit within the City of Three Rivers to install fiber optic within the city’s public rights of way. Surf Internet plans to provide residential fiber optic service throughout the city with the proposed installation project.
