Pride 2025 brings celebrations across Southwest Michigan

Communities across Southwest Michigan are gearing up for a vibrant and inclusive Pride Month 2025, with a wide array of events planned throughout June, July, and August. Each city brings its own flavor to the celebration, with festivals and gatherings focused on love, identity, and community.
Three Rivers Pride returns downtown
Three Rivers will host its annual Pride Festival on Saturday, June 21, from noon to 7 p.m. in the downtown area. This free, family-friendly event will feature live music, food trucks, and local vendors. The festivities will culminate with a drag show starring The Kalamazoo Kittens at 7 p.m. at the Riviera Theatre. Tickets for the drag performance are sold separately at $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Kalamazoo Pride Festival set for June 6–7
Kalamazoo Pride, one of the largest Pride celebrations in Michigan, returns June 6–7 at Arcadia Creek Festival Place. Hosted by OutFront Kalamazoo, the event runs from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday and from 2 p.m. to midnight on Saturday. In addition to entertainment, the festival serves as a major fundraiser supporting LGBTQIA+ programs throughout Southwest Michigan. Tickets are available online and at the OutFront office.
Grand Rapids Pride celebrates 37 Years
The Grand Rapids Pride Festival will take place June 21–22 at Calder Plaza in downtown Grand Rapids. Celebrating its 37th year, the event will feature over 150 vendors, a beer garden, food trucks, activities for all ages, a sensory space, and live performances. Organizers emphasize that Pride is both a celebration and a protest, dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment for the 2-SLGBTQ+ community and its allies.
Harbor Country Pride launches under OutCenter Southwest Michigan
Harbor Country Pride is back with a full week of events from June 1–8 across Three Oaks and New Buffalo. Now organized by OutCenter Southwest Michigan, the celebration began with an Interfaith Pride Service and Tea Dance on June 1. Other events include Queer Icons Karaoke, a Rainbow Shelf book discussion, Trivia Night, and a Pride Paddle on the Galien River. The week also features a Club Rainbow dance party, a Teen Pride Kickback, and a Book + Supper Club with author John Birdsall, concluding with Pride Family Bowling and a Leather Night party.
Battle Creek Pride Festival expands to four days
Battle Creek will host its annual Pride Festival July 17–20 at Leila Arboretum. The extended weekend will include live music, drag performances, art displays, a Pride parade, family activities, and resource booths. Organizers describe the event as more than a celebration—it’s a space to honor identity and promote community unity. Festival updates and details are available on social media @BattleCreekPride.

Allegan Pride scheduled for early August
Allegan County’s 4th annual Pride celebration, organized by Allegan, Speak Up!, will take place Saturday, August 2, along the riverfront boardwalk. The weekend kicks off with the Mx. Allegan Pride 2025 Pageant on Friday, August 1. This year’s festivities will include drag shows, local vendors, and community outreach booths, offering opportunities for connection and celebration.
