Body found near Second Avenue in Three Rivers identified

A body discovered last Monday afternoon in a wooded area off Second Avenue in Three Rivers has been identified as David Michael Abrams.

A body discovered last Monday afternoon in a wooded area off Second Avenue in Three Rivers has been identified, according to the Three Rivers Police.

“The remains that were located in the City of Three Rivers have been identified as David Michael Abrams, 66 years old,” Three Rivers Police Chief Scott Boling said in a press release. “The investigation into the cause of death is still ongoing. The department extends its deepest condolence to the family and friends for their loss.”

Abrams had been missing since Christmas of last year, and was reported as a missing person by authorities at the end of March.

The Three Rivers Police Department were called to the 300 block of Second Avenue at approximately 1:17 p.m. on Monday, April 11, after an individual walking their dog reported finding what they thought to be a body.
