Live Music Coming to Downtown Three Rivers This Saturday

An opportunity to experience live music will take place this Saturday, October 10 on Railroad Drive in downtown Three Rivers. Live music acts will perform in the area behind the Riviera Theatre between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., and seating areas will be available in the form of socially distanced circles, marked on the ground, accommodating up to five attendees each.

Whitmer says many COVID-19 orders will remain in effect despite Supreme Court ruling

The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday ruled that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer did not possess the legal authority under two laws to extend states of emergency and issue executive orders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whitmer said after 21 days, a number of health and safety protocols she has mandated will continue under “alternative sources of authority that were not at issue” in Friday’s ruling.

Carver Center to Hold Benefit Rummage Sale this Saturday

The George Washington Carver Community Center is holding a rummage sale in Three Rivers this Saturday, October 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will take place at the center’s location at 436 Jefferson Street.
