NewsMatch match cap increased to $15K with 18 days left in our campaign

With a mere 18 days left in our year end fundraiser, we were informed that thanks to additional support from a national funder, NewsMatch will now match up to $15,000 for each participating newsroom.

Watershed Voice received exciting news this morning from the kind folks at NewsMatch, and it means more funding if we’re able to reach our goal.

With a mere 18 days left in our year end fundraiser, we were informed that thanks to additional support from a national funder, NewsMatch will now match up to $15,000 for each participating newsroom.

Donations made between November 1 and December 31 are eligible to be matched up to $1,000 per individual, so if you’ve already donated an amount less than $1,000, you can donate again before the end of the year. If you’ve been meaning to donate and haven’t yet, please consider helping us cross the finish line.

This funding will go directly toward operational expenses, which means we can pay our bills and our staff with this money, and potentially hire more journalists to expand our coverage. If you’d like to see us continue producing award-winning work in 2024, donate today and ask your friends, family, and coworkers to do the same.

We’re in this together.
