The Three Rivers Police Department announced a flood warning is in effect for the St. Joseph River in Three Rivers until Friday night, providing a link to the National Weather Service’s flood safety tips and resources page.

With the flood stage at 7 feet, minor flooding of Scidmore Park’s picnic area is expected. At approximately 7:45 p.m. Monday the maximum river stage was 7.2 feet.

The river is expected to fall below stage by Thursday night, and continue falling to 5.9 feet by next Monday. Follow the Three Rivers Police Department Facebook page for the latest updates.
