Get ready for Shop Small Saturday this weekend in downtown Kalamazoo. November 30 promises festive shopping, exclusive deals, and holiday cheer for all who visit.
With more than 50 unique retail shops and 45 restaurants and cafes, downtown Kalamazoo offers a diverse shopping experience for everyone. The City of Kalamazoo invites visitors to stroll through the heated streets and explore the charming Outdoor Mall, where shoppers can discover hidden gems and enjoy special promotions.
To enhance the shopping experience, free tote bags will be available to shoppers while supplies last.
The event encourages community members to support local businesses that make downtown Kalamazoo unique. Come out and enjoy a festive day out in the heart of “The Zoo”!

The free event, which is open to the public, will feature a panel of local women working in journalism and media. Space is limited, and RSVPs are recommended.

But the neighborhood of 4,500 residents has just one banking institution: Advia Credit Union at 706 N. Westnedge Ave.
It’s carrying the load to help Northside residents build financial security.
