Local Meeting Primer: Sturgis City Commission to meet Wednesday

Commissioners will hold a public hearing on a special assessment for the East Jerolene Street sidewalk project and discuss the public safety capital budget.

The Sturgis City Commission will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Sturgis City Hall, 130 N. Nottawa St.

Wednesday’s agenda includes the second reading of the city’s zoning ordinance and authorization of various city bills. Commissioners will also hold a public hearing on a special assessment for the East Jerolene Street sidewalk project and discuss the public safety capital budget.
