Three Rivers Dog Park to celebrate first anniversary with community event
Located at Railroad Drive and Pealer Street Bridge, next to the skate park, community members and their four-legged companions are invited to join in on the festivities.

The Three Rivers Downtown Dog Park will celebrate its one-year anniversary with a free, family-friendly event this Saturday, May 31, from noon to 4 p.m.
Located at Railroad Drive and Pealer Street Bridge, next to the skate park, community members and their four-legged companions are invited to join in on the festivities.
Hosted by the Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority, the anniversary event will feature pet-friendly vendors, giveaways, local animal rescue groups, adoption opportunities, a doggie costume contest, goodie bags, a photo booth, raffle prizes, a caricature artist and live music. Food from local vendors, including the popular Weenie Kings, will also be available.
“This is a celebration of community and the bond we share with our pets,” organizers said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to mark a successful first year of the dog park, and we hope to see familiar faces and new friends come out to enjoy the day.”
The dog park officially opened May 20, 2024, as a collaborative effort among local leaders, donors, and volunteers who recognized the need for an off-leash recreational area in downtown Three Rivers.
Attendees are encouraged to bring only well-behaved, vaccinated dogs.
