Last month, Watershed Voice hosted its annual Artist Showcase, highlighting local musicians, poets, and spoken-word artists from the Three Rivers community.

More than 75 people gathered at the Huss Project’s Imaginarium on Saturday, July 25, for nearly four hours of performances. Watershed Voice staff members Steph Hightree and Austin Kane recorded video and audio of the event, which is now available for free on Watershed Voice’s YouTube channel

Admission to this year’s showcase was $5, but the full recording is available to watch for free. Making the showcase available online allows the performances to reach people who could not attend while also preserving the work of local artists and giving performers another way to share their music, poetry, and other work.

Each year, the Artist Showcase serves as a reminder of the creative talent found throughout the Three Rivers community. Watershed Voice is proud to play a small role in providing local artists a space to share their work, connect with an audience, and continue growing their craft.

Watershed Voice would again like to thank the Huss Project for hosting the showcase inside its Imaginarium, along with this year’s sponsors: Deerfield Counseling, Lowry’s Books and More, Riviera Theatre and Bar, Useless Creatures Brewing Company, Corey Lake Orchards, *culture is not optional, Faxi Leboeuf, and The Huss Project.
