St. Joseph County warming centers
Overnight / Evening Warming Shelters
Gracepoint Church — Sturgis
Address: 26268 W. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI
Hours: Evening and overnight during extreme cold; typically opens at 6 p.m. with overnight stays through the morning. Doors close around 10 p.m. to lock the door for everyone’s safety, however, people can still come in with director’s approval or first responder drop-off past 10 p.m. Can also provide transportation in Sturgis area.
Conditions: Operates when the “real-feel” temperature is around 9 degrees or lower (confirmation recommended before arrival).

Daily Harvest Church — Three Rivers
Address: 205 N. Main St., Three Rivers, MI (next to Subway)
Hours: Overnight shelter during extreme cold; doors lock at 9 p.m.
Conditions: Overnight shelter currently available to men only. Guests must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Operates when temperatures fall below approximately 32 degrees.
