Najifa Farhat joins Watershed Voice
Najifa Farhat, formerly of Missoula, Montana, has joined Watershed Voice. Farhat will serve in the role of staff reporter beginning this week.
Najifa Farhat, formerly of Missoula, Montana, has joined Watershed Voice. Farhat will serve in the role of staff reporter beginning this week.
A Spring 2024 graduate of the University of Montana, Farhat is originally from Bangladesh. She came to the United States to pursue her master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources Journalism following three years of journalism back in her home country.
While studying she had internships with Montana Public Radio, Boulder Monitor, and Flathead Lake Biological Station. Before joining WSV, she had a fellowship with Inside Climate News covering the Mountain West.
Farhat, 28, loves tropical weather, spicy food, and meeting new people. She dreams of owning a vespa and traveling around the world on it.
