One arrested, no one injured in Edwardsburg shooting
A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, January 28 after a dispute between several individuals resulted in the discharge of firearm, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
A 33-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, January 28 after a dispute between several individuals resulted in the discharge of firearm, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
At approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 18000 block of State Line Rd. in Edwardsburg. Initial investigation of the incident resulted in the arrest of the aforementioned male, and showed no one was injured.
The man is currently lodged in Cass County Jail. His name is being withheld pending arraignment in 4th District Court. The shooting remains under investigation.
Assisting agencies included Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, Indiana State Police, and Porter Ambulance.
